The story I’m going to tell happened when I was an eighth grader. When I was about to adapt to my first new class in Taipei, I perceived something unuasul.
I found that some of my new classmates would just ignore the teacher who was talking on the platform, and sometimes even talked back to the teacher. At the beginning I thought maybe they had conflicts with that teacher previously, so they appeared aggressive to that teacher. But after a few classes, they treated all the teachers impolite. What’s worse, these unfriendly classmates formed their own group and played jokes on those who they disliked. Whenever we were during class or taking a break, they just teased and humiliated a poor person at the back of the class. Therefore, everyone was afraid to be the next target.
In the next semester, we couldn’t endure them anymore! We decided to move our seats to the front of the classroom, so that we could listen to the teacher attentively instead of their teasing. On the other hand, they placed themselves at the back rows and turned off their light all day. Then claimed they were the” Evening Class”. Though they kept interfering with class, we just appeared indifferent to their childish behavior.
With a new and strict homeroom, they were separated into different classes. Those times were difficult to me, but with the amicable friends accompanying me and the rest of our classmates’ unity, we overcame it altogether.
Be more social
It’s hard for me to talk to an unfamiliar person first. Every times when I met a new person I always felt awkward and it end up made me appear unapproachable. But this isn’t meaning I’m exactly an offish person. The reason that I’m not good at associating with people may because I don’t have bothers or sisters in my family. So I have a little trouble in interacting well with a new-knowing friend. But with the time that I spent with a person getting longer, I’ll be better knowing that how to get along with him or she.
Things I Like about Taichoug
I had moved many times since I studied in elementary school. But the community I like most is in Taichoug, where there is a pleasing and beautiful city view.
Taichoug, which is surrounded by a lot of stunning parks, appears more vital and energetic. These parks not only provide a place for citizens to enjoy their leisure time, but also combine the cold city buildings with nature and make the city more friendly. Another reason I like this space is that the atmosphere in there is much more relaxing. when it is composed with Taipei. The streets in Taichoug are broader, even the public facilities and stores are more spacious. So people do not have to crowd the same place and seldom get stuck in the traffic jam, either. In contrast of the fashionable clothes Taipei people dress, people in there tend to wear more casual clothes. Perhaps it is why living in Taichoug made me feel carefree and more comfortable. Moreover, there is many famous night markets which sell cheaper goods and delicious foods. Furthermore, there are restaurants which are both large and unique, such as a coffee shop full of cats, or a restaurant which offers stools or cars as chairs! Even a tea shop offers numerous kinds of books for customers to spend a whole afternoon. I think it almost likes a library where you con eat and drink as you wish. And Taichoug is also a city flowing with artistic atmosphere.
The only thing I think its government should improve is that the city bus is hard to catch. It seldom comes in time which is not convenient to students and tourists.
Dear Diary

Dear Diary,
Yesterday, I went shopping with my senior high friends. Though I knew the Collage Entrance Exam is approaching, and I’m supposed to spare no effort on studying and reviewing. However, I still want to seize this precious chance of get-together.
In fact, our aim that day was to pick a birthday present for our closest friend. In the beginning, we had no idea what to buy for her. “Do these clothes fit her?” “Will she like the doll?” “Will she think it’s useless?” After we rounded the whole mall for almost two hours, we were extremely exhausted but ended up buying nothing. In spite of feeling tired, we were filled with happiness. We had countless things to talk with, after all we couldn’t meet each other frequently!
On the way home, I thought that even though I didn’t spend the time on school work, I still felt that I had a fulfilling time with my dear friendly! These two hours made us build up a stronger relationship.
My Relatives
This photo was taken in last spring. My relatives and I had a family dinner in an organic hot pot store. Every time when we had to decide where to have a male took many troubles due to my mother is a vegetarian. Thus, the restaurant was chosen by my mother and she could eat whatever she wants without hesitation. In the left of the picture is my uncle’s sweet daughter. Then she just celebrated her one-year birthday!
In the right of the picture is my uncle’s wife. She is as pretty as a model and craved for her own child. I wish her dream will come true soon!
A Horrible Dream
In the English class last week, Sam fell asleep. The teacher was teaching the new lesson, but Sam felt bored as usual. He always did badly in this subject. In addition, the weather that day seemed to be extremely cold, and it made Sam easily fall asleep.
In his dream, Sam became a teacher who was teaching in his most fearful subject, English! He found himself standing on the platform nervously. However, even though Sam did his best explaining grammar, he still couldn’t make his students understand! As a result, all the students gradually nodded off. Filled with anger, Sam went down the platform and woke up all the students angrily. “Wake up!” he shouted. In the meantime, Sam was shocked by his teacher’s voice! He opened his eyes and looked around; suddenly realized that he had come back to the reality. Despite his classmate’s teasing, Sam was so glad that it’s just a dream!
Finding the Puppy
On Jason’s birthday, his parents hold a party for him. They also invited lots of relatives, classmates, and his best friend, john. Actually, John is his neighbor, and their companionship is as good as brothers. So, John decided to give Jason a big surprise. When Jason opened the present from John, he was full of pleasure to see the furry puppy! Since that, Jason won’t go anywhere without carrying his lovely puppy.
One day, Jason took his puppy for a walk. He suddenly wanted to go to the restroom, so he left his puppy for a while. After John returned, he was shocked that his puppy disappeared! He went here and there in the park, looking for his beloved puppy. With his disappointment and sadness, Jason didn’t find his puppy. Finally, he cannot but give up searching then went back home. To Jason’s surprise, he found that his puppy just sat right in front of the doorway of his home. How smart the puppy is!
Eva and Her Baby Cats

Eva is a lovely and considerate girl, who has strong passion for cats. Therefore, she kept a lot of cats, which had no home to go back to. But after a week, Eva’s mother couldn’t put up with these naughty cats anymore! They jumped up and down, and kept massing up the house. What was worse, they broke her favorite vase. Although Eva took the responsibility to clean up, her mom still insisted on sending them away.
Eva was so upset that she went to the garden to cry. During these days, companionship had developed between Eva and these cats. She really didn’t want to separate from her baby cats! However, she had no choice but to leave them. Finally, Eva realized that she was too young to look after such a number of cats. “What if these cats become ill at the same time? Can I handle it well? ” she thought. Now all she could was find an ideal keeper with a warm house and plentiful food for her lovely cats.
My Best Friend──Iris Wang
Iris and I have been friends since elementary school. At that time, I just moved to taichung and didn’t adapt to the new surroundings. Luckily, I met her. And she gave me a lot of help.
Iris is really a nice person who is easy to get along with. She has a high forehead and never let her hair cover it, making her always look energetic. Besides, she has a pair of big eyes which make her look clever. Actually, she is really smart and polite. When I talk to her, her eyes fix on me and listen to me carefully. And her special hair color impressed me the most. Guese what color is it? It is brown! But neither of her parents ars forigners.
Every year, I went back to Taichung to visit her. Her family always treat me like I belong to their family. Although her parents divorced, she has never been defeated by sadness. Instead of depression, she took the resiponsibility to take good care of her younger sister and has become more mature. Now she always has a big smile on her face, which can cheer everyone up. Her outgoing Character spreads joy to everyone. When I am with her, she makes me feel warm. She is such a great friend that I wish I would Some day make her feel the same as I feel about her.
A Memorable Birthday
Susan moved to this apartment three months ago.She went here to look for a better job.And She brought a lovely dog to keep herself accompany.As a result,she wasn’t lonely.
One morning,Susan woke up early and went in to the kitchen.She decided to prepare a big meal to celebrate the birthday for herself.Sunndly,a gorllia showed up in front of her.Susan was so shock that she broke all the dishes on the floor,and began to scream.
But the gorilla didn’t hurt them and began acting strangly.Finally,he took off his mask,presenting a bouquet of flowers for her,and said”Happy Birthday,Susan!.”That was her boyfriend,John.What a memorable birthday!
